The Hoffman 2D Brain Phantom provides the thickness differences between ventricle, gray and white matter. The phantom simulates the radioactivity distribution in a single slice of a brain study. The normal gray-matter:white-matter:ventricle radioactivity ratio is 4:1:0 (simulated by partial volume effect).
